We’d like to congratulate you on starting your internet presence, and we’re grateful that you chose Computeman to assist you. It may take up to 30 minutes (or longer in exceptional cases) for your hosting account to become operational after you place your order.
We provide you with the ability to connect to your Computeman Hosting account straight from the Computeman website. As a result, you only need to remember one set of passwords: your Computeman account details rather than your cPanel login credentials. When a Shared Hosting account is activated, the cPanel auto-login buttons appear in your Computeman Account Portal.
Our system will also email your domain’s hosting account information.
After activation, you will receive an email from TLD with complete login information. Also, check your Spam/Junk folders. If you have not received your Welcome email after a few days, please contact us via Live chat, and we will resend it to you.
And that’s it! You’re ready to get started! Let’s take a look at what needs to be completed before going live.
Updating DNS
The first step is to ensure that your domain is pointed to our hosting nameservers, which will allow you to link it to your future website.
On your domain registrar’s side, set the following nameservers:
dns1.Computemanhosting.com and dns2.Computemanhosting.com are two domain names owned by Computemanhosting.com.
Please refer to these guidelines if your domain name is registered with us.
NOTE 1: Changing nameservers may cause your domain to be inaccessible for a period of time. Local ISPs may take up to 24 hours (or longer in exceptional situations) to update their DNS caches, resolving your domain to the new server. DNS propagation is the term for this procedure. Because of its automatic nature, it cannot be modified or sped up.
NOTE 2: When switching between Computeman BasicDNS/PremiumDNS/Web Hosting DNS nameservers, DNS changes take one hour (24+ hours in certain situations) to take effect.
Website Development
It’s possible that you have no content for your website but are eager to launch it.
You’re in luck since it’s never been simpler!
Website Builder is a cPanel application provided by Computeman that allows you to effortlessly design a website using a drag-and-drop editor. You may find step-by-step instructions on how to use it here.
Softaculous, a free program that offers up to 400 scripts that you may activate for your domain in a few clicks, is also included with cPanel.
WordPress is a fantastic place to start. It’s simple to use and infinitely customizable, with hundreds of free great themes to choose from – all of which contribute to it being one of the most popular website platforms on the market.
Website File Transfer
If you already have a website built, you can use FTP (File Transfer Protocol) to upload it to your hosting account.
It can be done via an FTP client (FileZilla, CyberDuck, iWeb, and so on) or the cPanel File Manager tool.
An FTP client is the ideal alternative for multiple and regular file uploads.
DNS Propagation
Point your new website domain to the IP address of your shared hosting account. You can get these details from the shared hosting control panel or ask a support agent by chat or support ticket.
Google Indexing
After uploading your website to the shared hosting account, you need to allow Google to index your new website.
